Gangsta Rap的介绍
Gangsta Rap是一种表现城市中的年轻人的暴力生活的Hip-Hop的一个下属风格，又名匪帮说唱。Gangsta是gangster的非辅音（non-rhotic）读法。由Ice-T和Schoolly D在1980s中期首创，并在后期由像N.W.A乐队推广。在引起大家的关注后，从二十世纪八十年代后期至九十年代初期，Ice-T和N.W.A创建了Gangsta Rap。Gangsta Rap逐渐成为了最有商业价值的Hip-Hop风格。
Gangsta Rap的歌手地位
2pac和The Notorious B.I.G.被认为是Gangsta Rap届最具有影响的两位歌手。2pac完全可以被称为是Hip-Hop历史上最具有影响的歌手。Ice-T和Schoolly D则是创始人。接下来著名的N.W.A(Niggaz With Attitudes：Eazy-E，Dr.Dre，Ice Cube，MC Ren，DJ Yella，Arabian Prince）仅次于前四人，其中Dr.Dre最为成功，培养Eminem，Snoop Doggy Dogg等等说唱巨腕。与其同级的还有殿堂级人物Snoop Dogg。其次还有像Geto Boys，Mobb Deep，Xzibit，nate dogg，Too Short，Kool G Rap等人21世纪后便有50cent，G-unit组合，The Game等。历史发展中也有许多在我国并不知名的G Rap悍将如：Spice 1，Thug Lordz，Street P，MC EiHt，Coolio，Celly Cell，C-Murder，Kurupt，Warren G，Ya Boy，Andre Nickatina，King Tee，Lil Wyte，Nipsey Hussle，Yukmouth，The Regime 等。一些组合：Bone Thugs-n-Harmony，Three Six Mafia，Westside Connection等
